This A3 colour poster features a collection of diverse and inclusive reads that promote kindness to each other.
Many young people will be aware of the recent rioting in the UK, and may feel anxious or uncertain about the future.
This poster is intended to spread understanding, empathy and hope in the face of hatred and division. The books featured explore issues such as immigration, racism, prejudice and intolerance.
All books are appropriate for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students and are high quality books that I would recommend to students.

Mental Health Awareness Week is from 13th to the 19th May.
Stimulate learning, emphathy and insight about mental health issues with this fiction book recommendations poster.
All of the books are appropriate for young teens (Key Stage 3 pupils) and feature a comprehensive collection of diverse and inclusive books that I would recommend to any student.
Each book is labelled with a particular mental health condition, which can act as trigger warnings.
Make sure you have the books available in your school library and pop up this fab poster around the school to promote to pupils.
Books are also differentiated so there are some high level books for those more able students, as well as accessible texts for weaker readers.
